As a dedicated marketing team of four, we manage the promotion of our 19 (soon to be 20) open sites across all social media platforms (this suggests that all four of us look after the socials so would add something in here about what we do as a team not just saying across all social media platforms) . Our two talented team members handle this digital presence with creativity and efficiency, ensuring each site stands out. Their innovative strategies and commitment drive our success, proving that even a small team can achieve great results. They manage our Instagram accounts (@roxyballroom, @roxylanesuk) and our TikTok account (@roxyballers), along with maintaining site-specific Facebook accounts and a LinkedIn presence. Working for Roxy allows us to unleash our creativity and craft impactful organic content that communicates our core messages, company updates, promotions, and more.
We are thrilled to be shortlisted in two categories! This achievement is a testament to our Social Media Team hard work and dedication. One standout project is “Roxy on the Street,” a personal initiative by our Social Media Manager, Megan Sharp. This project aimed to make a bold statement, turning heads and leaving lasting impressions. With our cheeky bowling pin mascot and a giant 20ft bowling pin stealing the spotlight, we’ve captured attention through captivating influencer collaborations and high engagement stats. We’re not just making waves in the hospitality industry; we’re causing a splash that’s hard to ignore. Each episode includes some Roxy mischief, shaking things up and showcasing what Roxy has to offer.
Megan shares: It’s fantastic to be shortlisted for Best Content Series for our “Roxy on the Street”. Since joining Roxy, my goal has always been to ensure our content is playful, innovative, and engaging. “Roxy on the Street” is a brilliant way to engage with our audience, highlight the fun and dynamic culture at Roxy, and bring our brand to life in a unique way. This recognition is a testament to our dedication and creativity, and we’re chuffed to be acknowledged in this way
Our second shortlisted category, the Rising Star Award, features the dynamic Social Media Executive, Sadie Burns, who is a shining star within Roxy Leisure’s marketing team and the social media sphere. Since November, she has dazzled us with her creativity across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Sadie’s innovative content sets us apart in the competitive socialising landscape, captivating our audience and leaving competitors trailing behind. As the face of “Roxy on the Street,” her charm steals the show.
Sadie shares her excitement, “I still can’t believe I’ve made it to the final three of the UK’s Rising Star. I owe this achievement to the amazing team at Roxy, who introduced me to the marketing world. If someone had told me two years ago that I would be here, I would have laughed. I’m immensely grateful to everyone who believed in me!”
