Rhotic Media has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2024 UK Content Awards

It has been recognized in the ‘Outreach Campaign of the Year’ category for its recent Financial Promoter Live! conference, as well as in the ‘Non-profit Campaign of the Year’ category for its work with diversity charity, Reboot.

Rhotic Media is a full-service marketing agency specializing in markets across the entirety of financial services, including banking, payments, pensions, insurance, wealth management, fintechs and crypto.

The team is comprised of award-winning writers, and highly qualified marketers, allowing it to craft marketing and content strategies that best suit its client base and their objectives. Rhotic advises on how to reach an audience, selecting the best distribution channels, and the best content type to fit business needs.

The team is also well-versed in the broadcast space, often stepping into presenter or moderator roles at industry events and webinars.

Rhotic Media has previously been praised for its award-winning social mobility, having won a UK Social Mobility Award earlier this year. The entire team is thrilled to have been nominated for a UK Content Award in recognition of its work with diversity charity, Reboot, this year and feels it also helps to further spread the charity’s message.

After 6 years of Rhotic Media, the team noticed a gap in the market: there was no real title dedicated to financial services marketers. Having always worked closely with marketers in this industry, the agency recognized the lack of representation this group faced, and so created the Financial Promoter Community.

Starting as a quarterly print magazine, Financial Promoter acts as a vehicle for Rhotic’s own external marketing. With the first edition of the magazine having gained a huge amount of traction across social media and its client base, the team knew it was time to expand the brand. Today, the Financial Promoter name is second nature to financial marketers across the city of London, Europe and the US.

Soon after its launch, the team spotted the potential for a digital news site, which posts the freshest financial marketing news on a daily basis. This, coupled with its print asset offers a place to showcase the work of clients, as well as the exciting innovations constantly occurring within the industry.

Earlier this year in March, Rhotic took Financial Promoter to the next level, when it hosted the first in a soon-to-be series of events. Its inaugural Financial Promoter Live! was the first opportunity to bring the community to life, with the day acting as a learning and networking opportunity. Thought-provoking panel sessions, and connections to last a career were just some of the highlights that were taken from this event.

The team are thrilled to be nominated for ‘Outreach Campaign of the Year’ at the UK Content Awards, feeling it provides further representation for Financial Services marketers.

The year still has much in store for the Financial Promoter brand, however, with November set to play host to its newest venture: Financial Promoter Awards! With 19 categories ready to enter, Rhotic Media has given the financial services marketing community a scheme dedicated to recognizing its hard work, talent and creativity. Entries for the awards close at the end of July, and the awards gala will take place 7 November. The entire FP team is looking forward to once again welcoming its community and taking another opportunity to celebrate what we do.

In response to the double shortlisting, Joe McGrath, founder of Rhotic Media, said delivering high-quality client work and creating communities is what Rhotic prides itself on.

“Creating audiences, engagement and communities is essential for all organisations in today’s always-on environment. The best campaigns evaluate the audience’s needs, the external environment and forthcoming market headwinds.

“Through our campaigns for reboot and Financial Promoter Live!, we raised the profile of these brands and achieved engagement levels of which we are very proud. Having that work recognised from such an esteemed judging panel is the cherry on the cake.”

Elizabeth Pfeuti, Rhotic Media director and publishing director of Financial Promoter also commented, said she is very proud of what the team has achieved in such a short space of time.

“In Financial Promoter, we feel we have created a forum for senior financial marketers to come together and discuss both their daily challenges and the opportunities that exist in the wider market in a collaborative and collegiate way. It’s wonderful to see the event recognised.”
